From 12-14 August, I was part of the rad Blacksmith team that captured #TheNextWave. The 2 Day Exchange and Afterparty hosted by Nike x Patta x Mamakashaka was Africa’s first of its kind.
Nike x Patta #TheNextWave 2 Day Exchange brought 30 South African creatives together to learn from local and international mentors. These mentors included, Caster Semenya, Clint Corteiz, Zaid Osman, Shaniqwa Jarvis & more. The young creatives had the opportunity TO participatE in fashion, music AND photography workshops over the course of the 2 day exchange.
To end off Nike x Patta The Next Wave 2 Day Exchange, an afterparty was hosted bringing South Africans together to celebrate culture and community. The afterparty showcased musical talent from Pretoria all the way to Amsterdam. Well known celebs/influencers were spotted in Nike x Patta drip during the event.
